These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of KhataLogix(the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service provides tools to record sales/purchases, payments, manage companies and products, view reports, and generate ledger PDFs. We may add, remove, or modify features at any time.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

3. Subscriptions (Pro)

KhataLogix Pro may be offered as an in-app subscription billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the applicable store’s terms and policies. We do not control store billing decisions.

4. Your content & business data

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the Service (such as companies, products, sales, and payments). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display this data solely to operate and improve the Service and to provide features like sync, reporting, and PDF export.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your data and for maintaining appropriate records for your business. The Service is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code (except where prohibited by law).
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware.
• Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to use.

6. Intellectual property

The Service (including its software, design, and trademarks) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated reports will meet all regulatory requirements. You are responsible for verifying results and compliance obligations.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, or if required to protect the Service, other users, or comply with law. Where feasible, we will provide notice.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, if changes are material, provide additional notice within the Service.
